Welcome to the Jamul Environmental Agency (JEA) page. The JEA was created in 2001 to safeguard, protect and enhance the lands of the Jamul Indian Village.

The JEA has the following responsibilities, however, the duties listed below are not intended to be an exhaustive list:
1. Administer EPA related programs
2. Monitor Environmental issues
3. Implement Jamul Tribal Environmental Ordinances
4. Consult with Governmental Agencies
5. Environmental Education

Past Announcements


JEA held its 4th quarter outreach meeting August 17, 2011. It was an exciting presentation on total coliform and E. Coli. FInd the presentation here.

After much interest and deliberation a new logo has been chosen for the JEA!!!

3rd Annual Creek Cleanup Day was held July 20, 2011! If you couldn't make it down for the fun it's ok, you can find the presentation and pictures on this very site!!!
