Kenneth A. Meza
Meza serving his first term as Vice-Chairman. Meza is a past Tribal Chairman and looks forward to sharing his knowledge and experience in hopes to move his Tribe forward. Meza is a Marine and served in the Vietnam war with great honor. The son of Richard Meza and Marie Cuerro Patricia, both of whom are 4/4 Kumeyaay Indians, Meza was born December 3, 1945. Mr. Meza grew up on the Monte Vista Ranch until the age of 15 years then moved back to the Jamul Indian Village to spend the rest of his time. Mr. Meza is one of the original signers of the Jamul Indian Village Constitution of 1981. He served as the Chairman in 1980's and continues to contribute a tremendous amount of his time to such functions and ceremonies as graveyard cleaning, November 2, and all funerals through out the east county and neighboring tribes as the Vice-Chairman.
