Robert W. Mesa

Executive Council member


Elected to the Tribal Council in June of 2005, Robert Mesa is currently serving his fourth term as Councilmember for the Jamul Indian Village. His duties with the Tribe include running the Environmental Department and acting as the Tribes delegate on the boards of Kumeyaay Community College (KCC) & the Inter-Tribal Court of Southern California (ICSC). He also serves as treasurer for the Native American Environmental Protection Coalition (NAEPC).

Robert graduated from San Diego State University in 2005 with a degree in finance. He is also A+ Certified, which is an industry credential that validates the knowledge of computer service technicians with the equivalent of 500 hours of hands-on experience.
